Problem: Manufacturer Keeping Formula from Company
Solution: A paint company was having difficulties working with their coatings manufacturer, who refused to release the details of the company’s product formula that they were responsible for producing. The company contacted Avomeen to identify and quantify all ingredients present in their manufactured product to confirm that the product specifications they were marketing and selling matched the product they were receiving from their manufacturer. Avomeen’s Ph.D. chemists were able to provide the company with a detailed deformulation report utilizing FT-IR, GC/MS, LC/MS, EDXA, and ICP instrumentation. The information that Avomeen provided also allowed the customer to search for a new possible manufacturer. The company solved their dispute with their manufacturer, allowing them to have another manufacturer formulate their product at a lower cost.
